I've been around small business owners my whole life. Family members, friends, clients, people who pour everything into their work, only to end up overwhelmed by HR, benefits, payroll, and compliance.

When I tried to help them, I did what most people do. I went online and started looking for HR support.

I'm Justin, the co-founder of ViAbilityHR.

I hold a PhD in Population Health and have spent over a decade studying how workplaces shape people's health and wellness.

Over the years, I developed a deep understanding of how absence, disability, and injury ripple through a business and how better processes and systems can improve both outcomes and costs.

I wanted to take that knowledge out of academic papers and policy documents and put it in the hands of the people who need it most: small business owners across Ontario.

Felicia is a senior HR leader with more than a decade of experience supporting growing organizations across Ontario. She has worked with startups and multi-site businesses, helping leadership teams build practical HR systems that support growth, compliance, and strong workplace culture.

Throughout her career, Felicia has built HR functions from the ground up, implemented HRIS systems, and led talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management programs.

Whitney, a co-founder of ViAbilityHR, is a paralegal with experience in employment law and a strong understanding of compliance requirements for small businesses in Ontario.

She's seen what happens when policies are unclear, documentation is inconsistent, or employers simply don't know the rules they're supposed to follow.
